In a letter addressed to ladies at the beginning of this Study Guide, Martha Peace writes,

Each lesson in this Study Guide corresponds to one chapter in The Excellent Wife book except the chapter on "Loving Your Husband" and "Biblical Resources for the Wife's Protection." Those chapters have been divided into two lessons each.
Martha suggests you "read the corresponding chapter in the book first; then go back and answer the questions in this Study Guide. Write your answers out in your own words. Take your time and be very clear. Don't just put an answer down; make sure you understand what it means."
