A Hand-sewing Skills Primer
Rebekah Wilson has taught many to hand sew through the years, including homeschooled children in her local area. She has taken her lessons and complied them into a primer to help families learn and refine their hand sewing skills.
In her new hand sewing primer, Rebekah starts at the very beginning and walks the reader through each and every step. Each lesson builds a foundation for future lessons; which helps reinforce what has already been learned and will advance the needle worker's skill even farther.
A very gentle and easy introduction to hand sewing that will encourage even the most timid of beginners—and build a lifelong enjoyment of handiwork skills. Every lesson creates a finished project that can be placed in the hope chest, given as a gift, or used in the home when finished.
Full-color illustrations and graphics are used whenever possible for easier understanding. Detailed directions are given for each step unlike many books on the market that assume the sewer already knows how to create the stitches or items.
